A detailed instrument that will allow you to evaluate all that is going on in the subject within your school has been prepared. Part 1 deals with the descriptors that indicate how pupil standards can be raised. This has been emailed to all departments in SELB and those that have completed this aspect are now working on the quality descriptors for Teaching and Learning. The 3rd Part deals with Management and Leadership at all levels and when all 3 parts are complete there will be evidence to show what the targets for next year should be and a 3 year departmental development plan will be prepared.
